Photography was my first great hobby. The first time I got a reflex camera was when I was 16, around 2008. At that time, I was experimenting with anything and mostly doing artistic photography, not settling for the nature of my subjects. I spent entire nights without sleep before going to school, teaching myself Photoshop with the limited resources available at the time. Since then, I haven\u2019t stopped taking photos and experimenting with a variety of themes. Thanks to my travels, my work as a marine biologist, my interest in animals, and my artistic vision \u2013 which I also express in my paintings \u2013 I have been able to gather a wide range of photographs, never limiting myself to just one theme. <\/p>

I take photos using natural light and then edit them using Lightroom and Photoshop to enhance the subject or landscape and add an extra creative touch. I also use these tools to find the best color tones or play with light and contrast in black and white. I create and use my own filters to maintain my style and continue learning more with each photo I take. <\/p>

If you ask me, I couldn\u2019t say whether I enjoy taking photos or editing them more. Both processes are different. Taking photos is about finding the perfect angle and moment, and it gives an adrenaline rush when you capture the shot you had in mind, with an extra thrill when it involves wildlife \u2013 in this case, you could almost call it a sport. Photo editing provides a different kind of rush when you finally see those images you captured and discover ways to make them even better. It\u2019s a moment to let your imagination run wild, and sometimes it can be overwhelming to see the endless possibilities for each photo. That\u2019s why a lot of trial and error is needed to find the version you like best. For me, editing is like painting: the more you do it, the closer you get to creating your own unique style that can be easily recognised by others. <\/p>
